Favourite Summer Lipsticks!

Hey guys!

Today we thought we would share our favourite summer lip products! As its summer we like to pull out our pinks, corals, and bright colours!

Our first favourite lipstick we have been loving to wear this summer is the Wet n Wild Mega Last Lipstick in 'Think Pink'. Its a beautiful hot baby pink lipstick and screams summer to me!

Secondly, one of my go to lipsticks has been the Rimmel Lasting Finish Colour Rush Balm in the shade 'Give me a cuddle'. This shade is beautiful!!! Its just the perfect everyday shade but with a pop of pink.

Next we have the Face of Australia Glossy lip crayon in the shade 'Berry Brûlée'. I love me some purple lipstick and always find a way to wear it even though its more suited to the colder months. This is just a glossy sherry tint go purple and is a great way to wear a bold purple lip but not be too dramatic.

Next, we have my absolute favourite NYX Butter Gloss and thats 'Angel Food Cake'. Its seriously the perfect my lips but better gloss!

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 'Antwerp' is our next favourite summer lipstick. This shade is amazing!! Its a pinky, coral shade and i just can't even explain how much i love this lip product! So creamy on your lips but still looks matte- there great!!

Lastly, we have the Bourjois Colour Boost lip crayon in 'Fuchsia Libre'. If I'm after a hot pink this is what i reach proof. It stains your lips and claims to be waterproof so its perfect for summer!!

Hope you guys liked out favourite summer lip products!

SensatioNail Gel Polish Starter Kit Review and Application

Hey guys!
We recently received this SensatioNail Gel Starter Kit in the shade Raspberry Wine and thought we would do a blog post on how to apply it and to let you know our thoughts on the gel kit.

The Gel Starter Kit contains:
- A LED Lamp
- Gel Cleanser
- Gel Primer
- Colour Gel Polish
- Gel Base and Top Coat
- Lint-free wipes
- Double-sided nail buffer
- Manicure stick
and claims to last 2 weeks of dazzling, damage- proof wear.

Now to the application of the Gel Starter kit. I thought i would treat my mum and give her a manicure as I'm unable to wear nail polish due to work but super excited to apply this in a couple of weeks. So heres my mum as my lovely hand model!

Firstly, you need to prepare your nails. The kit includes a double sided nail buffer which is used to file your nails with the grey side then to lightly buff of the natural shine with the pink side. Taking a lint free wipe and gel cleaner i then cleaned her nails.

I then applied the Gel primer to my mum in circle motions just on the outside of the nail. This is suggested for easier removal of the polish and let it air dry for 30 seconds.

Next comes the Gel Top & Base Coat. I applied a thin layer to each nail- not touching the cuticle or skin around the nail along with capping the nail. This then needs to be cured or hardened in the LED lamp for 30 seconds.

Next comes the Colour Gel Polish. Using the colour Raspberry Wine i shook the bottle then applied thin layers to each of my nails making sure to cap the nails. Then curing them for 60 seconds.

I then applied a second coat to my mums nails. Curing them for another 60 seconds.

Taking the Gel Top & Base Coat again i painted a thin layer of this over the nail polish capping each nail, then curing for 30 seconds.

Lastly, i took another lint free wipe and Gel Cleanser to clean the top of the nails.

And VOILA! they are finished! This colour is such a beautiful shade!

Once its all applied to the nails, your nails are super smooth and shiny. So far they have lasted 5 days without chipping or anything and are still looking perfect!

SensatioNail also make a Gel Polish Removal Kit for easy removal of the Gel Polish. Ill keep you updated about the removal when i take of the gel polish!

Have you tried the SensatioNail Gel Starter Kit? What are your thoughts about it!

November Favourites! ft. Rimmel, Essence, NYX, Avon

Hey Guys!

November is over and the count down to Christmas begins! So here are the products that we have been loving this November!

Wonder'Full Mascara with Argan Oil: I have been loving this mascara recently. As a person that is obsessed with mascara i love the fact that this has Argan Oil in it. You don't feel as made putting the mascara on your eyes knowing there are products in it that are helping your lashes. Besides from the argan oil i love the effect it gives my lashes. I find i get no clumps and it really separates my lashes and coats them evenly.

Essence Soo Glow Highlighter in 'look on the bright side': A super glowy, dewy highlighter. Its a cream to powder product so feels matte when its on the cheeks and is almost a white highlighter that blends into the cheeks with this champagne sheen to the skin. I have just been loving this- i use my fingers to apply it to help warm up and blend the product into the skin.

Essence Natural Beauty Lipstick: The perfect everyday shade. A great 'my lips but better shade' mixed with a beautiful pink/coral touch. I have been reaching for this daily when i can't be bothered wearing a full face of makeup but still want to feel pretty!!

Rimmel Exaggerate Auto Waterproof Eye Definer: I have this eyeliner in the shade 'in the nude'. Its just a nude creamy, pigmented pencil that looks great in the waterline to really brighten and open up your eyes.

Avon Femme Perfume: This perfume smells amazing!!! It's states the smell starts of with a mixture of jasmine petals, pink grapefruit and luscious pear then moves to the heart of the perfume- magnolia, gardenia and water lily then leaves a lingering scent of amber woods, soft peach and musk. It just smells so good and slightly changes throughout the day but each stage of the scent just smells great!!

NYX Eyebrow Gel: I bought these in the shades Brunette and Expresso thinking that expresso would be my shade however its so dark and brunette is a much better shade even though its one of the lightest shades. My eyebrows are really dark so its obvious if there are sparse areas so I'm loving this to feel them in. Its waterproof and lasts ages so its perfect for summer.

Nude by Nature Mineral Powder: Over the last couple of weeks it has been so hot where i live that it is impossible to keep foundation from sliding of your face. Lately i have been reaching for my nude by nature mineral powder as it doesn't feel heavy on the skin and provides a light to medium coverage that evens out my skin tone.
