NYX Butter Lipstick Review: Taffy, Sweet Tart and Hunk

Hey lovelies!

Here is our review on our new NYX Butter Lipstick! I ordered these of BlueScandel.com for $6 each. You can order them here.

We ordered our lipsticks in the shades taffy, sweet tart and hunk.

Taffy, Sweet Tart, Hunk

I had heard so many mixed reviews on these lipsticks but decided to splurge and buy some and i have to say i love these lipsticks, they are true to the packaging colour and are really creamy and moisturising. The pigmentation varies as taffy has excellent pigmentation where as i find hunk could have a little bit more pigmentation to create the deep purple shade.

Taffy:
A bright baby pink with a blue undertone. A great colour for spring and would look amazing with a smokey eye

Taffy
Sweet Tart:
A beautiful medium pink with a slight red undertone. A great everyday colour.
Sweet Tart
Hunk:
A bright purple with blue undertones. This one is almost a deep hot pink. I wish this one had a bit more pigmentation to create to the colour of the tube. However i still really like the colour it creates.
Hunk
Hope this helps you all!

Estee Lauder Colour Portfolio

Hello everyone,
Hope you are all terrific!
Today's post is going to be on the Estee Lauder Colour portfolio which i received as an amazing birthday present.

The colour portfolio folds out to show the insides. It contains:
- 30 eyeshadows
- 15 lipsticks
- 4 blushes
- 2 lip glosses
- 1 double ended eyeliner
- 4 brushes
and comes with a large mirror and idea card showing two different looks you can create.

I love this product. It can be purchased from Myer for around $95 along with on their website. For the big price you pay for this i feel you defiantly get your moneys worth with the amount of products you get.

The eyeshadows are highly pigmented and contains matte, shimmer and stain shades. The amount of different looks you could create with this palette is endless due to the about of different colours and eyeshadow types there are.

I love how you get three different shades that can be used for blush and a contour shade. There are two shimmery blush shades and a matte blush shade. The darker matte pink blush shade is a great shade for contouring and blush and is one of those products you can just sweep onto your cheeks. The contour shade does have some shimmer in it but looks wonderful to give some colour to the face.

You just can't lose with this palette!

Till next time,

April Favourites!

1. Rimmel wake me concealer in ivory: Use this daily to cover up my under eye bags, it really wakes you up! Love the creamy consistency and does not look cakey under the eyes.

2. NYX blush in pinched: Love the golden shimmer through it!! It adds the nicest flush to your cheeks with the prettiest shimmer that reflects the light. One of my most used products last month.

3. NYX eyebrow cake powder in dark brown: Have been using this since I bought it and love how it makes eyebrows look neat and sharp. Pretty cheap compared to other brands and i love the how the compact comes with 2 shades, wax, a spoolie and an angled brush, it has everything!

4. Australia fresh and flawless powder in deep natural: Holy grail product! Nothing can beat this powder, i used this over foundation or by itself and its just amazing!

5. Chapstick everyday lip care: This Chapstick applies like velvet to your lips, makes them feel amazing and has intensive moisture for your lips. Love to apply this throughout the day as the colder weather makes them very dry.

6. NYX buttergloss in maple blondie: Adds a subtle pop of coral pink to my lips and I love the glossy finish, been wearing this daily as its hint of colour can be worn for any occasion.

7. Real techniques deluxe crease brush: Use this to blend in my concealer, creates an airbrush finish and reaches all the hard to reach places.

8. Essense eyeliner pen: So easy to create a simple thin wing everyday. So easy to use and so unbelievable cheap.
